About the trainer
Lynn Fearn has been training piercers for over 17 years and can link you with many successful body piercers both in the UK and abroad. A body piercer herself for over 23 years Lynn is experienced and believes this is essential as a piercing trainer.
Many companies have "jumped on the band wagon" of opening piercing training schools in the last few years but PPAUK training school has been training over 30 years as Lynn took the business over 17 years ago from Pauline Clark who ran the school previously from Piercing World in Nuneaton.
There is no classroom environment and you come in comfortable clothing to a relaxed, friendly atmoshphere. Part of the day the theory part of the course is in a comfortable "lounge" training room and the practical part in our lovely piercing studio. You will work on real people not dummies!
If you do not feel confident after the course Lynn will come out and work with you until you are! But you will be! This course covers all up to date changes in piercing laws and new government guidelines introduced in July 2013.
About the courses and training school-
Courses are held on our premises at Swadlincote in South Derbyshire, UK. The piercing courses suit anyone and you do not have to have any knowledge of piercing or previous qualifications. Swadlincote is a small market town and does not have any train stations so if you do not drive the nearest train station is Burton upon Trent. However we do have a local pub that has accommodation for only £30 per night in an en-suite room and we can collect you from the train station on Monday morning or from East Midlands or Birmingham Airport, or from National coach stations and return you on Friday. There is no additional cost for this service. We also provide your lunch each day.
After the course -
Lynn with ensure during the week that you are confident to become a body piercer...the course is specially designed to teach you a little each day to build up to the "piercing day". There is a small test at the end to ensure you have learnt everything, dont worry if you are not very good at reading and writing we can do this verbally! You will be given a set of course notes which are yours to keep and refer back too. Many courses sell you a "piercing kit" and often this is just another way of them making more money! We help you get just what you need at the best prices and as you can afford it! We give you tips and help on how to get your business started and get built up while still making money, and on saving money as well on things you do not need!
